David Kobylar CPA, CDFA attended the Association of Divorce Financial Planners 11th Annual ADFP Conference in Chicago last week The Association of Divorce Financial Planners (ADFP) is an interdisciplinary association whose members research and analyze personal, business and tax issues related to divorce.
According to David, divorce financial planning is a growing segment within the financial planning industry. “As divorce financial planners we explain financial options, help set priorities and lead our clients though the hard choices they face in a divorce,” he said.
The annual conference is the ADFP’s premier education and networking event and this year its focus is on the quality, distinction and excellence of the association and its members. The agenda included an intensive one-day ADFP University followed by two-days of programs featuring the leading practitioners in the rapidly growing field of divorce financial planning. “The ADFP conference is an opportunity to learn from the best and apply what I’ve learned for the benefit of my clients,” said David.
While in Chicago, David took a little time to attend a Cubs game at Wrigley field and had a great time.
